Paypal shipping, flat cost and then each additional?

I'm using PayPal Standard for my website but I'm trying to figure out a way to charge one price for the initial item and then another cost per each addition item.
For instance, $1.50 shipping for the 1st item and then $0.50 per each additional item.
Can anyone help me out on this, how can I do this?

I don't believe that you can do this with PayPal. You might want to give them a call at 1-800-854-1366 and see if this can be done. I know you can do shipping based on the amount of the total purchase or shipping that is a percentage of the total cost but I don't know if what you are asking can be done so give PayPal a call. If it can be done, let us know.
