How to turn visitors into buyers?

I am getting a lot of traffic to my website; however am interested in turning these visitors into buyers.

I am aware of the pay per click option, however I would be interested in additional ideas as well. Also what kinds of things have other website owners done to turn visitors into buyers?

Would offering a free newsletter on my website be a way to encourage people to buy, or "get involved?"

Thank you for your help.

Hi,
The key to translate visitors into buyers is to make them feel comfortable in buying from you.

Your site looks very professional and I am sure that in no time you will start converting visitors to buyers.

Also, you might want to look at your site statistics accesible through your Web Piston back end so you can see where your visitors are going.

You should mention your most sought after products on the home page. For example, if you see from your statistics that most people go to your fragrances home page your might want to mention something about them directly on the home page.

Understanding your traffic and where your visitors go is critical in translating traffic into sales. I highly encourage you to review your statistics.

Best regards.

Hi, thank you for the reply!

Great idea re. looking at stats tracking to see where vistitors go and then posting these products on home page.

Tho from looking at my past stats it seems that every page was being visited.....

Should I look at the pages that are getting the most views, and then be sure to list these products with a pic on home page?

Also, I am not sure as to how many pics of products maximum is a good idea to put on home page, I don't want to "clutter" up home page so visitors feel like they are wading thru to much info.....currently I have about 9 products listed on home page, and they are all clickable.

Thank you!

Annsbeauty.
